Reince Priebus is a lawyer and political consultant who served as the Chairman of the Republican National Committee (RNC) from 2011 to 2017. He studied political science and English at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and was active in student politics. After college, Priebus worked for several Republican politicians, including Wisconsin Governor Scott McCallum and U.S. Congressman Thomas Petri. He also served as the Chairman of the Wisconsin Republican Party from 2007 to 2011.
