Rami George Khouri is a journalist, editor, and commentator on Middle Eastern affairs. He received his BA and MSc in political science and mass communication from Syracuse University, New York. He started his journalistic career as a foreign correspondent in Beirut in the 1970s.
Khouri has worked for several newspapers, including the Chicago Tribune, and served as editor-in-chief of the Jordan Times from 1975 to 1977. He was the executive editor of The Daily Star in Lebanon from 1999 to 2011 and has been a columnist for the Agence Global syndicate since 2002.
