Queen Naija is a singer, songwriter, and YouTuber from Ypsilanti, Michigan. She gained fame through her YouTube channel, where she would share covers of popular songs and original music. In 2018, she released her debut single, "Medicine," which quickly went viral and received critical acclaim.
The song became a top 50 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and has since been certified platinum. Following the success of "Medicine," Queen Naija signed a record deal with Capitol Records. She released her self-titled EP in 2018, which debuted at No. 45 on the Billboard 200 chart.
