Qiana Budd is a domestic violence survivor, author, speaker, life coach, and mentor based in Detroit, Michigan. She is passionate about empowering men and women to have healthier relationships in dating and marriage. Her experiences as a survivor have led her to create the H.E.A.L. (Healed, Empowered, and Able to Love) movement, which aims to promote domestic violence awareness and bring about change. Qiana grew up in a two-parent home with a solid spiritual foundation and volunteered as a teen mentor for young ladies, where she facilitated workshops on topics such as self-esteem, goal setting, and relationship building. She went on to manage an abuser intervention program, where she facilitated group therapy with male and female offenders. Her success in this program led to an invitation to conduct anger management workshops at a local women’s prison. As a leader in domestic violence awareness, Qiana has been a sought-after speaker, life coach, and mentor. She was also a host of Empower Radio. In this weekly radio show, she and her guests discussed and addressed concerns about dating and marital relationships in addition to promoting domestic violence awareness. Through her work, Qiana hopes to help survivors heal and move forward while educating others on creating healthier relationships.
