Philip E. Tetlock is an American political science professor at the University of Pennsylvania, where he holds the Leonore Annenberg University Professorship of Democracy and Citizenship. He is also a senior fellow at the Wharton School's Mack Institute for Innovation Management and the Center for High Impact Philanthropy. Tetlock is known for his research in expert political judgment and decision-making and has authored several books on the topic, including "Superforecasting: The Art and Science of Prediction" and "Expert Political Judgment: How Good Is It? How Can We Know?". Tetlock's research has been recognized by numerous awards, including the International Society of Political Psychology's Erik Erikson Award for Early Career Contribution to Political Psychology, the Society of Experimental Social Psychology's Career Contribution Award, and the National Academy of Sciences Henry and Bryna David Lectureship.
