Peter Sarnak is a world-renowned mathematician who has significantly contributed to several areas of mathematics, including analytic number theory, automorphic forms, and random matrix theory. Sarnak earned his Ph.D. from Stanford University in 1980 and has held positions at several prestigious institutions, including Princeton University, the Institute for Advanced Study, and New York University.
