With a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Education and Instructional Leadership from Pepperdine University, Arredondo began her teaching career at San Fernando Middle School (SFMS), the same school she attended. There, she launched the Multimedia Academy, a groundbreaking initiative to provide essential resources and educational opportunities to low-income students. Her innovative approach and dedication to improving educational outcomes led to the founding of the San Fernando Institute for Applied Media (SFiAM).
