Destined to relocate to the United States because God had a special calling on his life, Bishop Paul S. Morton, Sr., born in Windsor Ontario, Canada moved to New Orleans, LA in 1972. At the Greater St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, he was ordained as the Senior Pastor and for thirty-three years, he served faithfully. The church became a Full Gospel Baptist Church which expanded to three areas of the city and maximized seven services per Sunday under his leadership. God blessed and repositioned him after Hurricane Katrina caused a lot of destruction. His wife Debra B. Morton, now serves as Senior Pastor at the mother church in New Orleans, LA after he passed the responsibilities to her as commanded by God. The baby church, GSS Changing A Generation, in Atlanta, GA which was birthed out of the mother church is where Bishop Morton now serves as Senior Pastor and as a result of this, he and his wife now serve as each other’s Co-Pastors. Their church slogan is Changing The Way We Do Church! as it is one church in two states. One of the fastest growing movements in America known as the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International, is headed by Bishop Paul S. Morton, Sr. who is also the founding Presiding Bishop. He has created many churches out of Greater St. Stephen FGBC, New Orleans, LA as an apostle of the Gospel. And for over twenty-five years, Bishop Morton has been an international televised preacher who preaches to thousands of souls for the Lord every week. Morton is also an anointed singer with numerous Stellar Awards to show for his singing as well as a gifted author.
