Patti LuPone played opposite Robert DeNiro in the feature film City By The Sea starred opposite George Hearn and Zoe Caldwell in a concert production of Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music at the Ravinia Festival filmed a role on the upcoming season of the HBO series Oz and starred in the hit Broadway revival of Michael Frayn's Noises Off. She also returned to Carnegie Hall where she made her triumphant solo debut two years earlier with her one woman concert Coulda Woulda Shoulda. She performs the concert with major symphony orchestras throughout the U.S. as well as a second theatrical concert Matters of the Heart (upon which her most recent CD is based). Miss LuPone's other recent New York stage appearances include critically acclaimed performances in David Mamet's The Old Neighborhood as Maria Callas in Terrence McNally's Tony Award winning play Master Class and in her own concert Patti LuPone On Broadway for which she won an Outer Critics Circle Award.
