American bobsledder Jean Prahm raced from 1996 to 2006. At the FIBT World Championships, she took home three medals: two silvers (2000, 2001) and a bronze (2004). Prahm won the two-woman event of the Bobsleigh World Cup in 1999–2000 and 2000–01. At the time, she was better known by her maiden name, Jean Racine. After forcing her bobsled teammate out shortly before the 2002 Olympics, Mean Jean gained the moniker.
