Mr. Nag possesses rich and varied experience in different aspects of media over the last ten years as a technologist journalist and news manager. He started his career with Hindustan Times reporting on current affairs economic policy and technology. He kick-started serious coverage of science and technology at the paper. He later moved on to head the Science and Technology Desk at CNN IBN (http://ibnlive.in.com/) where he anchored and produced a technology show called Connect. He also reported on politics economic policy and current affairs as part of the National Bureau. He was then part of the team led by Vir Sanghvi at INX News Pvt Ltd. As the channel's executive producer he was part of the effort to define the channel's look hire over 200 people and launch the channel. As an Associate Editor at Mint a premier news daily Mr. Nag was part of a project to explore setting up television channels for the Hindustan Times group. He set up a video-reporting team and helped integrate the print newsroom video and web newsrooms. Mint now regularly carries video stories on their website www.livemint.com Mr. Nag is currently a founding partner of a niche analytics firm called Calculus Research specializing in Political & Market Analytics. Calculus Research helps politicians real estate developers FMCG companies and NGOs/funding agencies make informed decisions backed by quantitative as well as qualitative research. He is also an independent media technology and communications consultant working as a Startup Coach with various technology startups advising them on key organisational and growth strategies.
