Under his leadership, the company has nearly doubled in size. He is on the board of directors at Workday and is the chairman of the board of Elementum. He has held board positions on companies in the automotive, solar, and medical industries as well. McNamara serves on the advisory board of the School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University in Beijing and the Presidential CEO Advisory Board of Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He joined Flextronics in 1994.
