Miguel Cervantes is an actor and vocalist best known for portraying Alexander Hamilton in Lin-Manuel Miranda's Hamilton musical in Chicago. Cervantes also played the role of Alexander Hamilton in the Broadway version of Hamilton. If/Then with Idina Menzel, the R&R Boyfriend in American Idiot, and Chip Tolentino in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee are among Cervantes' other Broadway credits. Adelaide, Cervantes and his wife's daughter, died tragically at the age of three in October 2019 from a severe and uncommon form of epilepsy. Her parents and surviving elder brother have actively fought for epilepsy awareness and treatment since then.
