Michaela Watkins has established herself as a go-to comedian and actress. Watkins started off by building a theatrical career in Portland Oregon appearing onstage with Portland Center Stage and the defunct improv group Toad City Productions.Subsequently she became active in Los Angeles Theatre for many years taking on roles with Circle X Theatre and 2100 Square Feet. She began her film career with a role in 1998's Inconceivable before she was cast on an episode of the hit series Charmed. Watkins became a regular guest star appearing on Without a Trace Strong Medicine Medium and Grey's Anatomy. She appeared in multiple episodes of the sitcom Malcolm in the Middle as a receptionist before she played Jennifer in 7 Deadly Hollywood Sins. In 2008 she became the newest cast member of Saturday Night Live. She became known for her celebrity impersonations particularly of Joan Rivers Julia Louis-Dreyfus Arianna Huffington on their Weekend Update sketch Barbara Walters and Glenn Close.
