Michael I. Norton is a member of Harvard's Behavioral Insights Group and the Harold M. Brierley Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School. He graduated from Williams College with a B.A. in Psychology and English and a Ph.D. in Psychology from Princeton University. Professor Norton was a Fellow at the MIT Media Lab and the MIT Sloan School of Management before joining HBS. He and Elizabeth Dunn are co-authors of the forthcoming book Happy Money: The Science of Smarter Spending.
