Max Schneider Biography

Max Schneider is an actor and singer who began performing for family and friends at the age of three but ended up on a Broadway stage, singing and dancing. His professional career began with 13, a Broadway musical. Max booked a guest starring role on “Law and Order SVU” shortly after 13 closed and appeared on shows such as “The View” and “One Life to Live.” Out of 6,000 applicants, Max was chosen to attend the YoungArts Program in Miami in 2010. He studied with talented performers such as Malcolm Gets, Kevin Carroll and Liv Ullman. Max photographed with Madonna for the world renowned photographer, Steven Klein in early May, 2010. He also played roles in Nickelodeon’s “How to Rock and The Art Of Love (The Last Keepers). Max has written for several other artists and project just by being a passionate songwriter and singer. His song, co-written with Claire Demorest and Matt Wong titled “Last One Standing,” is featured in How to Rock and his song, “Show You How to Do,” co-written with Ben Charles, was featured on “Shake It Up,” a Disney show. He also wrote a song which was featured on Cody Simpson’s album Paradise known as “Standing In China.” Max worked with Victoria to create the YouTube sensation, “Bruno Mars Medley” (directed by Kurt Schneider) which went viral. He debuted two of his original songs: “Quicksand” (co-written by Matt Wong) and “Everyday” (co-written by Jon Feldmann). Max starred on the CW’s “Beauty and the Beast” in late 2012. He also starred in the NBC drama series “Crisis” and released “Nothing Without Love.” MAX performed one of the songs on the soundtrack which he wrote called “Mug Shot.” He played the role of Van Dyke Parks, a Songwriter, Singer, and Producer when he landed a supporting role in the indie feature Love & Mercy, which was about the life of musician Brian Wilson from the ’60s surfing band, The Beach Boys.
