Dr. Mary Lou Jepson is the former CEO and Founder of Openwater. She has founded four startups including One Laptop per Child. Previously she was the head of the Display Division at Google focused on creating the next generation of screens.
In 2005 with Nicholas Negroponte Jepsen co-founded One Laptop per Child (OLPC) to build affordable computers for the world's poorest people. By 2008 she had solved the most persistent problem of portable computing -- slashing the screen's power consumption. In the process she became a rising star of mobile technology.
