Martin Liquori is a former middle-distance runner from the United States. Liquori rose to prominence in 1967, three years after Jim Ryun became the third American high schooler to break the four-minute mile with a time of 3:59.8. He attended Essex Catholic High School in Cedar Grove, New Jersey, where he grew up.

Liquori attended Villanova University after graduating from high school. Jumbo Elliott was his coach at the time. As a nineteen-year-old freshman, Liquori joined the United States Olympic squad in 1968. He advanced to the finals of the 1,500-meter run but ended 12th due to a stress fracture. He was the youngest competitor in the finals ever.
