Marky Ramone is best known for his 15 years as the renowned Ramones' drummer. Prior to joining the Ramones, Marky was a member of the Brooklyn-based hard rock band Dust, where he collaborated with a wide range of notable performers. Marky began hanging out at Max's Kansas City when Dust was disbanding, where he met Max's house D.J. Wayne County. Wayne County and The Backstreet Boys were formed when he teamed up with Wayne. Many admirers were drawn to Wayne's wild theatrical performance and cross-dressing.
