Markus Gross Biography

Markus Gross (conceived June 14, 1963, Saarland, Germany) is a Professor of Computer science at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zürich (ETH), top of its Computer Graphics Laboratory, and the overseer of Disney Research, Zurich. Since 2008, he is the overseer of Disney Research in Zurich, one of three overall examination labs of the Walt Disney Company. Net has served on papers advisory groups of the significant design gatherings on different occasions including ACM SIGGRAPH, IEEE Visualization, Eurographics, Pacific Graphics, and others. In 2005 he turned into the principal European papers seat of ACM SIGGRAPH. Furthermore, he has been the co-coordinator of different worldwide symposia. He has served on the publication warning sheets of different diaries and was partner manager of IEEE Computer Graphics and Applications. In 2008 Gross was selected Director of Disney Research Zurich, one of the six exploration labs worldwide that were dispatched by The Walt Disney Company.
