Lou Manfredini Biography

Lou Manfredini is an American television/radio personality, home improvement expert and successful businessman. The Chicago-area native is host of the nationally syndicated television show HouseSmarts, Chicago's WGN (AM) Radio's Mr. Fix-It program, and is a contributor on NBC's "Today Show" and The Weather Channel’s "Wake Up With Al." Lou also owns and operates two neighborhood hardware stores and runs a successful real estate management company.

Over the years Lou has built and renovated over 100 homes, has owned and owns multiple business ventures and has a unique approach to walking the road to success. Lou’s expertise and determination mixed with pure, simple kindness have inspired fans nationwide - helping countless home and business owners break through, discovering their own untapped talents and infinite potential.

In 2000, he became the home improvement contributor for NBC-TV’s "Today Show." In 2006 his home improvement and lifestyle show "HouseSmarts" was born, which Lou currently executive produces and hosts. Lou has also authored 5 best-selling books on how to improve and maintain your home.
