Lori Chase Biography

Lori Chase began her career as a musical actor after receiving an award from her hero Lucille Ball while attending Northwestern University. Lori discovered that stand-up comedy was what she really wanted to pursue after a long career in the theatre in Chicago and New York. She hid out in her local club, NYC's Boston Comedy Club, for a year and a half, performing almost every night and bombing her way to developing an act. She met Danny McDermott of the Comedy Soapbox and began an alliance that has included appearing as a top 8 contestant in two comedy competitions. Lori recently returned from a summer spent in San Francisco, where she made her professional debut at venues such as Punchline's, Rooster's, and the San Jose Improv. On the road, she's performed at Cleveland's Hilarities and Tangiers, as well as Charlotte's The Comedy Zone.
