Lizzie Post is the author of How Do You Work This Life Thing? In 2011 the Post family released the 18th edition of Emily Post's Etiquette: Manners For a New World (William Morrow) which tackles the latest issues of the twenty-first century - from texting and tweeting to iPhones and Facebook. Inspired by Post's own experiences as a college student at the University of Vermont How Do You Work This Life Thing? is a real-life guide to manners for young people living on their own for the first time written by a 24-year old woman who has been there. Post uses stories of mishaps from her own life and the lives of her friends to show the 18-25 year-old crowd the importance of etiquette in building good relationships with bosses landlords roommates neighbors and significant others. Lizzie is the first person in her generation of the Post family to write a book on etiquette.
