Liz Miele Biography

Liz Miele often dreamed that one day she would have the balls to perform her jokes in front of a live audience. The day finally arrived at the ripe age of 16. She grew balls and performed for the first time in New York City. While its been four years since that frightful day she is oddly able to say that she still looks like she is 16 but is much funnier. Liz's comedy is a slow almost a dead pan delivery of her life's odd experiences with strangers and traumatizing events. At 18 Liz Miele was profiled in the April 2004 issue of The New Yorker. She was also a finalist in the 2004 Ladies of Laughter contest. Liz has participated in many contests and festivals and while she has never been a winner she does know many other comics that are winners and chooses to live vicariously through them. Liz is currently a senior at Eugene Lang College/The New School where she is concentrating in writing. She has written a few articles for Comical Magazine. Liz currently lives in NYC with her wonderful roommate Michelle and her satanic kitten Pasta.
