Lisa Desjardins is a correspondent for PBS NewsHour, where she covers news from the United States Capitol as well as reporting on how Washington's actions affect people where they live and work. Desjardins spent over eleven years with CNN as a senior journalist and Capitol Hill reporter before joining NewsHour.
