Durk Banks, best known by his stage name Lil Durk, is a Chicago, Illinois-based rapper. After the release of his track, "Sneak Dissin," which garnered a generally favorable response, Durk began seriously exploring rap as a vocation. Durk released a remix to his single L's Anthem in late 2012, which included Yo Gotti, Juelz Santana, Meek Mill, and Future. Lil Durk signed a deal with French Montana's label, Coke Boys, in 2013. His fourth mixtape, "Signed To The Streets," was published on DatPiff in the fall of 2013. It was issued on his own label, OTF, and with the help of the Coke Boys. It features Lil Reese in two cameo appearances with production credits from Paris Bueller, Young Chop, and others. For the mixtape, eight-song videos have been released. Bang Bros, Traumatized, Hittaz, and Times. For Bars Pt. 2, Oh My God, 100 Rounds, Dis Ain't What You Want, Bang Bros, Traumatized, Hittaz, and Times. Rolling Stone rated "Signed to the Streets" the sixth greatest mixtape of 2013. Durk was selected to XXL's 2014 Freshman Class in 2014. He is still producing songs and pursuing his musical career now.
