Liane Foly Biography

Philippe Viennet and André Manoukian found Foly in 1984 and offered to compose for her and record a demo. After a lot of hard work, she came in Paris in 1987 and met Fabrice Nataf, the artistic director and patron of Virgin France, who gave her the opportunity to start her career. In 1986, she changed her name to Liane Foly, after Dal, who stated in advertising at the time that he was "crazy about chocolate."
