Lauren Holiday is a retired American professional soccer player who represented the United States women's national team as a midfielder and forward from 2007 to 2015. She has two Olympic gold medals and a FIFA Women's World Cup title. Holiday played at a high level for FC Kansas City in the NWSL and the Boston Breakers in the Women's Professional Soccer League (WPS). She was a UCLA Bruins collegiate soccer player. She was a member of the team that finished second in the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup, and that she was named to the game's All-Star team. Holiday won gold medals for the United States at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics, the 2012 London Summer Olympics, and the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada.
