As Chief of Staff for the Altegris group of companies, Laura plays a key role in building the firm's infrastructure and aligning its strategic direction with internal priorities. Her expertise is critical in helping the management team find and develop the company's talent, and fine-tune organization structure to ensure it supports the firm's goals.

Laura was previously a Senior Vice President and Director of Operations for a West Coast multi-strategy fund of hedge funds, overseeing operations, staffing and the coordination of the firm's internal departments. She was also President of Orion West, Inc., a management consulting firm that specialized in working globally with CEOs and HR teams, including Fortune 500 level organizations.

Laura is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a BA in Psychology (summa cum laude) and an MA and a PhD in Organizational Psychology.
