An influential investigation into runaway grand juries and a murky underworld based on the notes of journalist Danny Casolaro Keith and Thomas' investigation shedded new light on such well-known 'Reagan's America' political scandals as the Iran-Contra Affair; the 'October Surprise' and the collapse of BCCI. When Keith suddenly died on September 8th 1999 amidst rumours of assassination over revealing the name of the physician who claimed Princess Diana was pregnant at the time of her death Thomas publicly declared that he would continue his beloved friend's legacy.
