Ken Downing Biography

Ken Downing is a fashion and retail industry expert who serves as chief creative officer of Triple Five Group. Within the company and American Dream especially Downing manages design advertising marketing public relations and events.
Downing was previously the fashion director and senior vice president at Neiman Marcus which he joined in 1990. He is a visible force in the luxury retail world and has helped to significantly shape and steer Neiman Marcus’s development over the past three decades. Downing has also served on multiple boards including the Council of Fashion Designers of America and has supported upcoming fashion design talents both nationally and abroad.
In addition he has collaborated on his own signature lines including with the brands PopSugar and Nest Fragrances and is regularly invited to speak at museums such as the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the St. Louis Museum of Art on the intersection of fashion and art. It was announced that Downing would be joining Triple Five Group in March 2019.
Downing holds a bachelor’s degree in apparel design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.
