Kelli Ellis Biography

She earned her bachelor's degree in communications and marketing and following in her father's footsteps Kelli applied to law school. After long nights in the law library Kelli decided to leave the courtroom behind and pursue her passions. Kelli struggled with the decision of going back to school to teach art history or to enroll at the Interior Design Institute in Newport Beach. Kelli decided to attend IDI and integrate her passion of art in the rooms she designs. From the beaches of California to the mountains of Montana Kelli's clients have kept her very busy on a repeat and referral basis for the past seven years. While expanding Kelli Ellis Interiors Inc. she has been occupied with her greatest accomplishments her two beautiful daughters who reside with her in Orange County California.
Kelli can currently be seen as the new Season 2 designer on Discovery Home Channel/TLC's Clean Sweep. Creating beautifully designed rooms in the reality TV format Two Rooms Two Days and $2000 Kelli makes it look so easy. Kelli can also be seen as the featured designer on HGTV's Takeover My Makeover fixing themed rooms gone wrong! While filming these series she has been able to offer design advice to millions through many national publications newspapers and radio talk shows. Kelli is featured in the Clean Sweep How to book designed to help people with their organizational and design problems released September 2005. Kelli also offered her creative wisdom to television viewers as a featured guest on The Jane Pauley Show (NBC).
