Hamp has built top global businesses while building talent and critical relationships across North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America over her 35-year career in communications. With considerable experience leading large regional and international teams in publicity, brand management, and customer awareness, executive communications, consumer relations, global talent development, organizational design, social media, sustainability communications, and strategic communications and issues management, her focus is on corporate reputation management. Julie headed Toyota Motor Corporation's worldwide communications operations as chief communications officer and managing officer, a post she took on after serving as chief communications officer for Toyota Motor North America, Inc. Julie formerly worked for PepsiCo as the company's chief communications officer and senior vice president of communications and consumer relations, reporting to the CEO. She was also a member of the GME and GM corporate communications strategy boards, as well as vice president of communications for General Motors' European area in Zurich. General director of communications for Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East; general director of sales, service, and marketing communications in North America; and vice president of communications for the Saturn brand were among her previous roles at GM. Julie graduated from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan, with a bachelor's degree in communications, and her post-graduate studies included participation in the GM-Harvard Business School Executive Development Program with a concentration on Asian studies. She is a member of the Arthur W. Page Society and an approved member of the Public Relations Society of America.
