Josh Krajick Biography

Josh Krajcik swindled his way onto the stage at a pub in his birthplace of Wooster, Ohio, when he was barely 16 years old. The singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist chose that night, after earning $100 for his four-hour first performance, to devote his life to music. Krajcik led a slew of musical projects over the following 14 years until forming the Josh Krajcik Band, a three-piece blues-rock band that performed with the likes of Corinne Bailey Rae and The Fray and was on the 2006 roster of the Bonnaroo Music Festival. However, by 2011, Krajcik was struggling to make ends meet and had to take a job at a burrito shop to make ends meet. Krajcik subsequently auditioned for The X Factor USA on the spur of the moment, and during the show's debut season, he was wowing viewers with his gravelly-rich voice and passionate delivery. Krajcik is preparing to release his first solo EP and full-length album, which will feature his strong voice and extremely emotional, soul-infused lyrics. Josh Krajcik's EP and next album Blindly, Lonely, Lovely include a mix of rock and roll, soul, and R&B that is instantly striking in its combination of raw emotionalism and musical complexity.
