Jose Pablo Cantillo Biography

José Pablo Cantillo was born and brought up in the Midwestern town of Terre Haute, IN, and found his passion for acting while studying business at Indiana University. Cantillo took his first acting class to fulfill a speech requirement, but after graduation, he moved to New York to continue his theatrical education at the prestigious Atlantic Theater Company and Barrow Group Schools. Cantillo appeared in several off-Broadway plays while in New York, and he shortly landed his first appearance on the show on Law & Order: Criminal Intent. His other television appearances include BONES, Nip/Tuck, ER, Crossing Jordan, and CSI: Miami. Shackles marked Cantillo's feature film debut, in which he co-starred with D.L. Hughley. He'll be seen in the upcoming films Crank, After Sex, Disturbia, and Bondage, as well as the independent film Bondage. Cantillo and his wife and daughter live in Los Angeles.
