Jonathan Edison, M.Ed., is the ideal success-centered technology model, instructor, and motivator. Jonathan was born into a poor family in Detroit, Michigan, a city plagued by social problems. He graduated from high school with a GPA of 1.63 and dropped out of college after only one year with a GPA of 0.86. Jonathan Edison, unlike many others with Jonathan's low academic record who grew up in comparable settings, is not forever condemned to conditions of disenfranchisement, poverty, and failure. Jonathan reconnected with his inner greatness after years of failure and began to focus on achieving success in his life. He went on to earn four college degrees, including two in education and one in leadership supervision. Jonathan made history as the youngest Assistant Principal in the history of Detroit Public Schools at the age of 27. Jonathan was named Wayne County Spokesman of Success in 2002. Motivated by the shock of hundreds of devoted educators being laid off in what amounted to corporate downsizing. Jonathan made the decision to take control of his own destiny. Jonathan is now the President and CEO of Edison Speaks International, a motivational and instructional development company devoted to inspiring people.
