Currently, DraftKings, a publicly listed technology firm (NASDAQ: DKNG), and OppFi, a publicly-traded financial technology company, both have Jocelyn Moore on their boards as an independent director (NYSE: OPFI). She is on the board of Pallas Advisors, a strategic consultancy company with a focus on innovation, military, and national security. She was appointed by the Biden Administration to the First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet Authority) board in October 2021. The FirstNet Authority is a special public-private partnership established in the wake of September 11th to provide a high-speed, nationwide wireless broadband network for public safety. She also played a significant role in the league's social justice initiatives. Moore formerly held the position of Managing Director at the prestigious government affairs and communications consultancy business The Glover Park Group (GPG; now Finsbury Glover Hering). She provided business customers with advice at GPG on a variety of topics, including banking, finance, health care, technology, social policy, taxes, energy, insurance, and trade. She also shared leadership of the company's integrated health + wellness practice. Early in her career, Moore served in the US Senate for 15 years in a number of high-level positions, most recently as the deputy staff director of the "A" committee's Senate Committee on Finance. Moore provided advice to the committee on all matters pertaining to taxation, healthcare, energy, human services, pensions, Social Security, transportation, and trade as a member of the senior leadership team. Moore is a member of a number of nonprofit organizations' boards, including the International Social Service - USA, where she chairs the development and communications committee, the West Virginia University Health System's quality and patient safety committee, the University of Florida Foundation's audit and nominating committees, the University of Florida Alumni Association's executive committee, and the DC Rape Crisis. Moore graduated from the University of Florida with a B.A. in English and an M.Ed. in Student Personnel in Higher Education.
