Jeff Quinn Biography

Quinn has 26 years of experience coaching college football, including 21 years as an assistant to Brian Kelly at Cincinnati, Central Michigan, and Grand Valley State. Except for the 2010 Sugar Bowl (which he coached for Cincinnati after Kelly departed for Notre Dame) and the 2006 Motor City Bowl, he had never been a head coach (which he coached for Central Michigan after Kelly left for the head coaching job at Cincinnati). Quinn then accompanied Kelly to Cincinnati, where he worked as the offensive line coach and offensive coordinator. Quinn was a nominee for the 2009 Broyles Award, which honors the greatest assistant coach in college football. Before coming to Grand Valley State, Quinn coached at DePauw University and Ohio Northern University, where he obtained a master's degree in educational leadership.
