Jason Felts Biography

Jason Felts is Founder and CEO of Virgin Produced and Virgin Fest, the entertainment divisions of Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Group, overseeing all aspects of brand, strategy, operations, and acquisitions for the company’s portfolio of entertainment businesses and experiences. At Virgin, Felts leads a bi-coastal team and is ultimately responsible for the execution of world-class brand positioning, entertainment and experiences as well as associated brand positioning for Sir Richard Branson. Named by Variety as one of the top “10 to Watch” in 2010, Felts has spent the last decade continuing to build Virgin into a globally respected and award-winning entertainment lifestyle brand.

Since 2010, Felts has sat on Virgin's Global Brand Council leading the brand’s marketing strategy and initiatives as well as consulting or serving on many Virgin branded company Boards in the Aviation, Hotel, Environmental and Telecommunication industries. Felts’ producing credits include film titles: Limitless, Bad Moms, That Awkward Moment, Immortals, Movie 43, The Impossible, 21 & Over and the biopic on Steve Jobs which collectively have grossed over $1.3B cumulatively in worldwide box office. Felts’ live entertainment credits include: Virgin Fest and KAABOO, which collectively entertain over 300,000 music fans across multiple weekends annually. Felts also leads Virgin’s digital network, operated by Virgin Produced, that showcases original OTT content and continues to garner more than 200M+ in monthly captive audience viewership within North America.

Prior to Virgin, Felts was a partner at J2 and was responsible for the development, financing, and production of a significant slate of consumer commercials, film and television content for leading Fortune 500 companies, studio and broadcast networks. With a passion for brand positioning, entertainment, hospitality, strategy and operations, Felts also speaks publicly on entrepreneurship, brand marketing, and equality. With a core belief that business should be used as a force for good, Felts co-founded the onePULSE Foundation, a 501c3 organized following the Pulse tragedy in Orlando, June 2016. To date, onePULSE has raised over $18 million from big business, with a focused mission of not letting hate win, building an educational museum and memorial and funding 49 annual scholarships.
