Iantha Richardson Biography

Iantha Richardson is a dancer and actress best known for her performance on This Is Us as elder Tess. Prior to her role as elder Tess on This Is Us, she appeared in commercials, short films, web series, and plays, including significant roles in the short film Benny Got Shot and the comedic television show Journey of a Goddess. Richardson comes from a dance and musical theater background. The 27-year-old actress attended Fordham University as well as The Ailey School of Dance. Richardson also teaches Ballet, Modern, and Jazz with TGF's everybody dance! and CNCA programs. She has been teaching for 7 years, beginning her career in New York City after receiving her BFA in Dance from Fordham University/The Ailey School. Following her graduation, she began teaching at The Ailey School's youth division, Harlem School for the Arts, and other prominent urban development arts programs around the city. Iantha is an American Ballet Certified Ballet instructor who studied in New York City with some of the most deep instructors of our time and learned a variety of precisely defined Modern methods.
