Hunter Schafer is a transsexual actress, model, and activist best known for her role as Jules in the HBO tv show Euphoria, alongside Zendaya as well as Barbie Ferreira. Schafer is from Raleigh, North Carolina, and attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts high school's visual arts program. Schafer started protesting House Bill 2, also recognized as the bathroom bill, while in high school, because it required people in North Carolina to use the restroom that correlates with their stated sex on their identity documents. Schafer was named to Teen Vogue's 21 Under 21 list, and Teen Vogue gave her the chance to interview Hillary Clinton, past presidential candidate, Secretary of State, as well as the First Lady of the United States.
