Howard Yu is the LEGO Professor of Management and Innovation at IMD Business School. The independent school is located in Switzerland. Yu is also the Director of the Advanced Management Program (AMP) which is a three-week executive course.
In 2018 he was named on the Thinkers50 Rader list of thirty management thinkers most likely to shape the future of how organizations are managed and led. In 2015 Yu was selected by Poets&Quants as one of The World's Top 40 Business Professors Under 40.
Yu is the author of Leap: How to Thrive in a World Where Everything Can Be Copied. The book helps readers learn how to reimagine products in a unique way instead of mastering copycat strategies.
Yu received his doctoral degree from Harvard Business School.
