Henry Mintzberg is the Cleghorn Professor of Management Studies at the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University in Montreal where he has been since graduating with a doctorate from MIT in 1968 with stints at other universities in the U.S. France and England.
Mintzberg's work focuses largely on managerial work strategy work and forms of organization as they relate to the business world. He holds an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from McGill University a master's degree in management from MIT and a PhD in management also from MIT.
