Helen Pak Biography

A 20 year industry veteran Helen Pak has worked at agencies including Saatchi Taxi JWT Ogilvy Havas and as Creative Director at Strawberryfrog in Amsterdam. At Ogilvy Pak was on the original global team for the highly recognized Dove Campaign for Real Beauty and helped launch the award winning initiative in North America and Europe. Pak took a brief hiatus from the advertising world and worked as a Creative Strategist at Facebook and Instagram and leading Facebook’s Creative Shop in Canada.
Her campaign work for clients such as Toyota Unilever P&G Novartis AMEX Telus and Kraft has been recognized as both creative and business success stories in North America and Europe. In addition her longer format branded content films have been shown and awarded at Film Festivals including the Toronto International Film Festival Palm Springs the Genies and HotDocs.
Active in the advertising community Pak sits on the Board of Directors for the Advertising and Design Club of Canada and has been on many award show juries including the One Show Clios Communication Arts New York Festivals Canadian Marketing Awards Art Directors Club of Canada Atomic Awards Marketing Magazine Awards as well as this upcoming year’s D&AD and AdStars.
