Harvey J. Coleman is the President and Founder of Atlanta-based Coleman Management Consultants, Inc. (CMC). Mr. Coleman has extensive experience working for some of America's most prestigious businesses and military organizations, including IBM, Xerox, and the United States Army Security Agency. Mr. Coleman is a public speaker, human resources consultant, and author who has taught managers from over twenty-five countries in Europe, Asia, and South America. He has been a regular guest speaker at Emory University's executive MBA program, IBM's International School in Belgium, and has taught managers from over twenty-five countries in Europe, Asia, and South America. He has also acted as a consultant to a significant committee of England's House of Lords. Mr. Coleman has created a ten-module videotape and workbook curriculum called "A World of Diversity," which aims to capitalize on the benefits of a diverse workforce. His book, "Empowering Yourself...The Organizational Game Revealed," is aimed at the American worker and has received significant critical praise across the country. He is well-known in the Atlanta business world as the recipient of the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce's 1986 "Small Businessperson of the Year" award. His excellent business relationships with numerous Atlanta leaders have resulted in opportunities to represent both his hometown and CMC on a national and international level. Mr. Coleman is interested in and supportive of Atlanta's cultural activities, and he is a patron of both the Atlanta Symphony and the Atlanta Ballet. He is also a founder member of two of the four Atlanta business clubs that he belongs to. He has served on national and local civic boards such as the Boy and Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta, the Boys Clubs of America, Inc., the Boys Scouts of America, the Atlanta Area Council, the St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation, the Neighborhood Justice Center, the North Area Council, the Chamber of Commerce of Greater Atlanta, the United Way Evaluation Committee, and the Advisory Committee for the Training and Development of Children. Mr. Coleman received his undergraduate degree from Youngstown University and his graduate degree from Emory University's School of Business.
