Hala Moddelmog Biography

Since May 20, 2010, Hala G. Moddelmog has been the President of Arby's Restaurant Group, Inc. Since September 2006, Ms. Moddelmog has served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Ms. Moddelmog was the Chief Executive Officer of Catalytic Ventures, Inc. before joining the Komen Foundation. From August 1995 through 2004, she was the President of AFC Enterprises Inc.'s Cajun Operating Company (previously Church's Chicken) division. Ms. Moddelmog worked for Cajun Operating Company as Vice President of Marketing, then Senior Vice President and General Manager, from May 1993 until July 1995. Ms. Moddelmog worked for Arby's Franchise Association Service Corporation as Vice President of Product Marketing and Strategic Planning from 1990 until 1993. She also worked at BellSouth in executive management and marketing. Since August 5th, 2009, Ms. Moddelmog has served as a Director of Amerigroup Corp. From February 7, 2008, to May 2010, she was the Director of AMN Healthcare Services Inc. From 2006 to January 2008, Ms. Moddelmog was a director of Fiesta Brands, Inc., and from 2006 to 2007, she was a director of HyperActive Technologies, Inc. She was a member of the Georgia Southern University Foundation Board of Trustees from 2005 to 2008, as well as the Clark Atlanta University Board of Trustees from 2004 to 2006. She has completed executive education programs at Harvard University and Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management, as well as earned accreditation from the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). Ms. Moddelmog graduated from Georgia Southern University with a B.A. in English and the University of Georgia with an M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications.
