He has appeared on both of Louis C.K.'s sitcoms Louie on FX and Lucky Louie on HBO as well as on CBS's CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and MTV's The Andy Dick Show. Fitzsimmons is also a frequent roundtable panelist on E!'s Chelsea Lately. From 2003 to 2005 he worked as a writer and producer on The Ellen DeGeneres Show for which he won four Daytime Emmy Awards.
