Gerald Starsia is Darden's senior associate dean and chief operating officer and a member of the Technology and Operations Management area. With primary responsibilities at the senior leadership level his teaching includes a Global Experience Course (Leading Complex Global Projects) Project Management and an online Leadership and Management course at the McIntire School of Commerce.
His research is in the areas of strategic planning higher education administration project management and leadership complexity theory.
Prior to coming to Darden Starsia worked in the real estate development and construction industries. He has been a consultant to organizations in the areas of planning strategic management information systems design instructional design and executive-level coaching.
