She received her bachelor of science in microbiology from Colorado State University. After college she entered a successful career in sales and marketing and in 2010 Genifer created Colorado’s longest running medical marijuana testing laboratory. Driven by Genifer’s skills and her passion for cannabis science CannLabs has grown into the premier marijuana analytics firm in Colorado.
As CannLabs grew and the science became second nature Genifer found herself becoming more motivated by patient needs. Advocating for science Genifer has adopted medical marijuana rights as a personal cause. Genifer’s expertise allows her to provide education to clients and patients on accurate dosing and proper activation. Genifer has been invaluable in the development of a credible and safe industry in Colorado. She serves on the governor’s taskforce for the implementation of Amendment 64 advising the taskforce on cannabis testing labeling and health and safety issues.
