Emma Channing Biography

Emma Channing is currently the CEO and General Counsel of the Satis Group — a full-service Initial Coin Offering (ICO) advisory firm on a mission to serve founders and emerging growth companies looking to launch new protocols utility tokens and security tokens.
Prior to joining to the Satis Group Channing had spent several years in start-ups particularly med-tech. This followed over a decade of experience in the law firms of Simpson Thacher Skadden Arps and Herbert Smith Freehills. Emma has been involved with offerings of high-technology e-commerce and healthcare as well as a wide variety of M&A and fund work. In addition she has significant experience regarding high yield debt novel securitizations and private placements and has spoken on these subjects at several conferences including the ABA’s Annual IP Conference and Token Summit.
Channing received her LLB and first LLM from Durham Law School (UK) in 1997 and 1998 respectively and her second LLM from Stanford Law School in 2010. Her bar admissions include the UK California and New York.
